MAURA STREPPA RELEASES FIRST SINGLE, “BLOODSTREAM - SKINNIER”, OFF OF UPCOMING EP “THE SKINNIER TAPES”
“Bloodstream - Skinnier” Press Release
Maura Streppa releases “Bloodstream - Skinnier,” the first single off her upcoming piano-and-voice-only EP “The Skinnier Tapes” set for a November 21st release. With little more than her voice and a piano for company, Streppa delivers an intimate glimpse into real-time vulnerability, heartbreak, and the irrevocable pull of what we carry inside us. Written in her early twenties, “Bloodstream - Skinnier” is both confession and reclamation: of old patterns, bruised self-worth, and the messy, yet beautiful, process of survival.
Produced and mixed by Thomas Dulin and brought to life by a stellar creative team (including vocals by Streppa, piano by Ian Miller, mastering by Joe Causey), “Bloodstream - Skinnier” cuts through the noise of heavily produced pop. It trades layering for rawness and polished gloss for honest ache. In doing so, it stakes its claim as one of the most quietly powerful tracks on her new EP. If “The Skinnier Tapes” is a diary you weren’t meant to read, “Bloodstream - Skinnier” is one of its most revealing pages.
